What type of transactions and geographies do we cover?

We have experience covering various types of transactions covering both residential and commercial real estate. Our key focus is on core plus, value add and opportunistic strategies. We are open to all asset types as well as size of the transaction.

Regarding geographies, our key focus is on Europe as well as North America – we are seeing the most opportunities in these markets and we are well positioned to assist with any requirements.

How do we work with clients looking for capital for their project?

This is where we spend the most of our time. Our clients include private individuals, investment firms and property developers that are looking to raise third party capital for their real estate project. Capital can include any part of the capital stack – starting from senior debt, mezzanine finance to JV equity. We start by studying your project and putting together a summary of the opportunity. We then start reaching out to prospective lenders and / or investors and find the best fit for you. Once we identify the solution, we will work on your behalf to negotiate the best possible terms and progress the transaction to completion.

Of course, each transaction requires help from other professionals, such as property surveyors, accountants, lawyers, and etc. With HIC, you’ll have access to our extensive network of such professionals, giving you a robust team to help you reach your goal.

How do we work with clients looking to use their capital towards real estate projects? 

We are often approached by private individuals and companies that are looking for interesting projects that they could participate in. We will leverage our network to find the project that matches your desired qualities and is often off-market. We provide direct access and support further execution of the transaction. When acting on behalf of capital providers we normally focus on the equity piece (purchase of asset or joint venture transaction). However we can also find opportunities for mezzanine debt.
