London Climate Action Week

For this month’s briefing, we’re going to highlight an upcoming event that should be on top of everyone’s radar: London Climate Action Week (LCAW).

This year, the weeklong festivities will run from 24 June – 02 July 2023. If last year is any indication with over 170 events and over 45,000 attendees, LCAW2023 should be a must on everyone’s calendar.

Already in its fifth year, LCAW is an annual event that seeks to bring world leading climate experts to help solve the climate emergency through a range of events from high-profile conferences to networking events and even social events such as highlighting sustainable cooking tips.

Whatever your interest may be, make sure to get involved in LCAW 2023 and see why we believe London is the green finance capital of the world.

Below are some of the events we are most excited about:

The 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change is now complemented and strengthened by the 2022 Kunming-Montréal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and provides a roadmap for governments and non-state actors to address biodiversity loss. We know that there is no net-zero without protecting nature, and that by 2030 we must halve global emissions, reverse biodiversity loss and enhance climate resilience. Yet we’ve never been better equipped to solve this challenge. This is our opportunity to change the trajectory we’re currently on to an unliveable future.”
